How Do I Save Instagram & Facebook Photos and Videos?

At times, while scrolling through our social media feeds, we stumble upon photos and videos that we'd like to save. Just like Robin, whose son got married last week and has some amazing wedding photos and videos uploaded. In this guide, I'll be sharing the steps to help you save those photos and videos so you can access them both online and offline on your devices.

Steps to Save Instagram Videos & Photos:

1. Open the Instagram app and find the video you want to save.
2. Copy the video URL above if you're on a computer
3. Tap the three dots (ellipsis) on the top right corner if you're using a smartphone, then select copy link
4. Open your web browser and go to the Snapinsta website https://snapinsta.app/
5. On the Snapinsta website, you'll find a field where you can paste the video URL.

6. When you're on the Snapinsta website, you'll see various content type options, including Video, Photo, Story, Reel, and IGTV.

• If you'd like to save an Instagram Video, just click the "Video" option panel above.
• If you want to save a Photo, click the "Photo" option above.
• To save an Instagram Story, select the "Story" option.
• For Reels, click on the "Reel" option.
• And if you're looking to save an IGTV video, simply click on the "IGTV" option.

7. After selecting the content type you want to save,  paste the URL you've copied from Instagram.
8. Once you've pasted the URL, click the "Download Video" button ( avoid clicking on any pop-up ads – simply close them.)
9. The content will start downloading. Once it's done, you'll be able to view it in your downloads folder.

Steps to Save Facebook Videos:

1. Open your Facebook account and find the video you want to save.
2. Click on the video to open it then copy the URL above if you're using a computer.
3. If you're using a smartphone, tap the three dots on the top right corner, then select copy link.
4. Open your web browser and go to the FDown.net website https://fdown.net/

5. Paste the video's URL, and click the "Download" button.
6. They will process the video and provide you with download options. Choose "Download Video in Normal Quality".
7. The video will begin downloading. Once it's complete, you'll be able to view it in your downloads folder.

Steps to Save Facebook Photos:

1. Log in to your Facebook account and find the photo you want to save.
2. If you're using a computer, open the photo and tap the three dots beside your profile, then select "Download".
3. If you're using a smartphone, open the photo tap the three dots at the right top corner then select "Save to Phone".
4. The photo will be saved and you'll be able to view it in the photo gallery or the designated folder.

And there you have it! A straightforward step of saving content from Instagram and Facebook. You can now keep your favorite photos close at hand, ready to view and enjoy anytime, anywhere. Happy saving!
