Why Limit Your Vacation Photography?

Limit Your Vacation Photography

When people have so many photos to sift through, often, it is too overwhelming to even start. Then the photos sit for months, years and even decades. When the time comes, they cannot remember what the majority of the pictures were anyway, and much is lost.

Here are some of the reasons why you should take a limited, smart amount of photos on your vacation.

  • By focusing too much time on photography, you are missing the essence of your trip. Relax, take in the sights with no pressure and truly enjoy the company of your travel companions.
  • Nobody wants to look through thousands of photos of your vacation, not even you! Imagine watching a slideshow of your 2000 photos. That slideshow would require an hour and a half to watch with viewing each picture for three seconds.
  • When you have fewer travel photos to manage, you are better able to identify where you are and what is important about that location. Capturing 10 great photos of an awe-inspiring scene is possible without taking 150 snapshots with different angles of the same thing.
